Last week students from our West Virginia Studies class and Earth and Space Science classes had the opportunity to visit and tour the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine. This was a great and unique learning experience for our students to gain knowledge on the impact and importance of the coal industry in West Virginia's history. Tee times for Wednesday are determined by each player's score on Tuesday.
Team scores are determined each day from the three lowest scores among the four players on a team. Teams scores from the two days are then added to determine a team total for the tournament.

2024 Ripley Viking Fest GRAND CHAMPIONS!!! This is the second time in three years that TCHS won this competition. TCHS first (out of 19 bands) followed by Parkersburg South, and Huntington, respectively.
Other highlights include: overall high music score, over third place percussion, overall second place field commander, and outstanding soloist in Division I, Caramia McCoy (trombone).
Hard work and a consistent dedication to
excellence has certainly paid off. Congratulations!
