Tyler County Schools kicked off another year with the MetaNu mental wellness program. This year the program will be available for every teacher in our county, and all students in grades 6-12.

We are striving in Tyler County Schools to increase our lines of communication with families and community members to make the education system better. TCMS students interested in playing football, there will be lifting from 3:30pm to 4:30pm 7/27/22, 7/28/22, 7/29/22. Flex practice will be August 1st-4th from 4-6 pm. Practice starts August 9th. There will be more information to come.

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY:
The Adam’s House is need of help unloading a truck delivery tomorrow around 11:45. Anyone wishing to help can show up and earn community service hours.

A Back to School Fair will be hosted this year. Hygiene products will be distributed at the back to school event. The event will offer services such as dental screening, vision screening, hearing screening and hair trims. This event will also provide families with personnel, programs and agencies that are available through Tyler County Schools to support our students and their families. All Tyler County students who will enter preschool-12th grade for the upcoming school year are eligible to attend the event. All students must be accompanied by an adult.

This is a reminder to all school children 18 yrs of age and younger that the Tyler County School Summer Feeding Program. It will be held at Sistersville Park and McCormick Greene Apartments beginning this Monday, June 13th. We will be providing “Free Meals” at the Sistersville Park from 12-1245 and McCormick Greene from 100-130 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The Tyler County Family Resource Network will be providing games and fun activities at the lunches.
Also, the Elks Club of Sistersville will be providing a FREE SWIM DAY at the Sistersville Pool!
Anyone can come to any of the site locations. Adult meals can be purchased for $3.00!
